ATTENTION: The AmiTCP version is a beta version !!!

    The  Smail  program  replaces  Dillons sendmail to become the UUCP mail
    transport  mechanism.  This Smail is based on Unix Smail V2.5.  I adapt
    some Unix function (like getloginname() getuid() etc.) to the Amiga and
    added some extensions (like BSMTP etc.)

    New Features:

    o Rewritten the routines for error messages (see `Config options')

    o Dillon styled logfile output changed

    o Netsupport.library is now used

    o some changes in source files (you should not notice)
      and some little changes in output messages

    o improved  %-address support

    o fixed a bug in installer script (SMPath was invalid)

    o should now works with PGPMIP (great work Peter Simons !)

    o improved guide file

    o message id is now unique (using uulib:seq)

    o ~ in :include: statement for aliasing will be expanded
      to home dir of the program's caller

    o in the CNews styled logfile there is logged the
      delivering time of the mail (evaluated from the Date: Header)

    o there were be problems with the logfiles and
      Return-Receipt-To: if there are more than one
      addresses in To:/Cc:/Bcc: lines. Only the first
      address were used. This is now fixed.

    o fixed some enforcer hits in aliasing routines

    o fixed a bug in finding a host in path file (Thanks to Hans Maurer !)

    o fixed error in installer script (SMPath was invalid)

    o fixed error in passwd routines in the Getty version

    o timezone information now works


    Special requirements:

     * At least Kickstart and Workbench 2.04.

     * DillonUUCP or AUUCP+ environment
