Short: Lock your AMIGA by a keyword Author: Stefano Maria Regattin (smregattin@fastwebnet.it) Uploader: Stefano Maria Regattin (smregattin fastwebnet it) Type: util/boot Version: 1.6 Requires: Any classic Amiga (emulated) Architecture: m68k-amigaos Date: Lord Year 2023, October 30th, Monday Name of the program: Albatros This program is the successor of Alba and AlbaEng. As them it has been made by Blitz Basic 2.1. It is in english only at the moment, however the parameters are explained in italian also. I have created it from scratch. You should put it into you S: drawer and modify your User-Startup typing: S:Albatros PARAMETERS To know the given parameters and their usage simply launch the program via CLI or Shell adding a "?" parameter. The first time it is launched the program asks the keyword to input and stores it into your S: drawer. Correpted the colours misplacement and some other things. Now you can enter odd exadecimal colour numbers, this means that you can leave out trailing zeroes! Now the date check should be corrept with the optional related parameter! Now it should works better under non AGA machines omitting the AGASCREEN flag. The previous version of the program did badly manage the backspace key on screen; now the problem should be solved. I am not responsible of any kind of damage this program can occurs to your Amiga, you use it at your own risk! Do not worry if you forget your keyword, there is a simple trick to skip the program's lock, e-mail me if you do not know it and I will tell you it! Now the misplacement of the input line without the AGASCREEN parameter should happens no more. correpted few wrong things. Now the DATECHECK parameter should work properly. Known bugs: on my Amiga 1200 launching the program without the AGASCREEN parameter it opens and it does garbage on screen and at end it crashes! :-( At end you could visit my web sites: www.stefanomaria.altervista.org www.esseemmeerre.altervista.org You can look for me on www.github.com!
