ID 3.40

ID when given a file as an argument will look at the file and try to
identify that file from one of 73 known file types.  If the -e option
is given then some extra information may be given about the file.

When ID is given a directory or device it will recusively search below
that directory/device finding all files and trying to identify them.
Again if the -e option is given then extra information will be given
about all files that can be given extra information.  If the -r option
is given then ID will not search recursively but only in that directory.
If the -s option is given then the statistics will be toggled.  It is 
normally on but is toggled when the -e option is given.
