This program is a text editor. You can open multiple windows,
use the clipboard... Windows are AppWindows, an AppIcon is
present on the Workbench screen. The ARexx interface has more
than 100 commands. Each window is handled by a separate process,
so you can print a text while working on a second one, an ARexx
script being executed on a third one...

Guide file: french version only!

Installation: just drop the Amitex drawer where you want to
install it. If you don't use the french catalog, you can
delete the catalog drawer.

Distribution: this program is giftware/emailware.

AmiLex is a version including a lexical checker (french
dictionnary only available). The files "Verbes_AmiLex" and
"Mots_AmiLex" can be deleted if you don't use this feature.

Ce programme est un vieil éditeur de textes que j'utilise depuis
plusieurs années. C'est sa troisième distribution sur Aminet.
Vous pouvez utiliser autant de fenêtres que vous le désirez,
le presse-papiers standard de l'Amiga (clipboard.device) est
utilisable pour le couper-coller. Les fenêtres sont des "AppWindows",
c'est à dire que vous y déposez une icône pour y charger un texte
directement, une AppIcon est présente sur l'écran du Workbench (même
rôle). L'interface ARexx possède plus de 100 commandes.
Le programme est multitâche : chaque fenêtre est gérée par une
tâche séparée, ainsi vous pouvez imprimer un texte, lancer un script
ARexx dans une seconde fenêtre, tout en travaillant dans la troisième...

Consultez le guide (AmigaGuide) pour plus de détails. Enfin une
aide AmigaGuide est disponible, directement depuis le programme (menus
et fonctions).

AmiLex est une version du programme incluant un vérificateur
d'orthographe. Les fichiers Lexique_Mots et Lexique_Verbes sont
utilisés par celui-ci pour retrouver les variantes des mots et
des verbes reconnus. Vous pouvez effacer ces fichiers si vous ne
souhaitez pas utiliser cette fonction.

Installation: copiez le répertoire Amitex où vous désirez installer
le programme.
