The Remote Volume Control (RVC) controls the volume level of any audio
source. It is commanded using the RS232 port. The design uses the
Crystal CS3310 for adapting the volume level, which is a component
mainly used in high-end applications (but not expensive though).

- CS3310 stereo programmable gain amplifier.
- MAX232 line-driver for RS232.

The application can be changed simply into a multi-channel mixing
console completely driven via RS232 and a computer.
