Short: Test your Joysticks Author: steigies@physik.uni-kiel.de (Christian T. Steigies) Uploader: steigies physik uni-kiel de (Christian T Steigies) Type: driver/input Version: 1.0 Architecture: m68k-amigaos This is a program to check your joysticks. It's not the first program for this purpose, Joytest 2.9 looks nice and even checks four ports at the same time, but I wanted something with arrows showing me the direction in which the joystick is pushed. I also found something on Aminet Set1A in dev/src, reading directly from the CIA, Joystick using the OS, lowlevel.library. Source and Makefile for SAS/C included, I hope I am using the functions correctly. Known Bugs: ----------- - Does not work when started from the ZShell. If you find out why, please tell me and Martin. It does work when started from csh or standard shell (or Workbench?). - Left Fire Button is detected approx. once a second without pressing it. TODO: ----- - About Requester. - Workbench startup code. - Nice icon, nicer images, nicer GUI. - Check and display 2 (or even 4) Joyports at once. Credits: -------- Thanks go to: - Patrick Kursawe, for quite some programming hints - Martin Gierich, for the Zshell - Olaf Barthel, for the Developer CD - Gauthier Groult, for IFF2C - Fred Fish, for the ADE CD - Aminet and of course - the Amiga
