What is it? =========== This is a link program to allow the transfer of variables and backups between a Texas Instruments TI-85 calculator and and Amiga. Currently only the $4 Serial link is supported as that is the one I have. I have also writen a crummy screen dump program. The plans for the link should be in the archive, but if not get the from www.ticalc.org Supporting other link adaptors should be fairly easy by re-writing getport(), setport() and initport() in tiport.c. See Compiling section for more info. Why? ==== Because I was sick of useing Link85X under an old version of PC-Task. It was slow, and only handled .85g and .85b files. All others had to be renamed to .85g. Requierments ============ ·Amiga - Should work on any amiga, tell me if it doesn't ·TI-85 calculator ·$4 serial link cable or another link cable and new port routines in tiport.c ·ixemul.library version 45 or higher. ftp.ninemoons.com is the best source for this as they always have the latest version ·Voltmeter if you want to test your link with linktest ·For prtscrn a Preferences supported printer that can print 128 columns of text (In Fine pitch >16 cpi) Contents ======== send85 -Sends variables to calculator recv85 -Receives variables from calculator test/linktest -Tests outputs of link cable test/recvtest -Shows received bytes prtscrn -Prints calculator screen using X's src/ -Source code TIDocs/ -The documentation I used while writing this program History ======= ver 0.9 - Last weekend First working version ver 1.0 May 21, 1997 0.9 worked fine with files received by it, but not true #?.85? files because I forgot about word ordering. Two days later I got it all. I hope :-) Wrote prtscrn just to see if I could do it.
